About

What are we doing?

We are creating a Web resource of audience research and media theories aimed at media students.

How are we doing it?

As  a team. Working together to produce an online resource aimed at 16-19 year olds studying Media A level or vocational.

We will classify our audience, creating a profile.

We will then create an amalgam character based on this – and “Everyman” for the media courses. We will post this on Facebook, and manage it as a real person.

We will post explanations of what we are doing, using this as an example for O1 & O2, and all posts will be constructed for the audience too. (ie 16-19 year old – no 16,000 word essays!)

What are we doing?

You will research, finding useful sources and linking these on your own blog.

You will publish your responses on the main unit blog under the correct category and using appropriate tags.

What can we post?

  • You can do a presentation on Slide Share or Prezi, and upload it.
  • You can do a voice over with it, and upload via Youtube.
  • You can do a vlog and upload it.
  • You can write a post and upload it.
  • You could stage a discussion, and film it, and upload it.
  • You could make a short film, and upload it.
  • You could make an artistic installation, and upload it.
  • You could read a book, write a short report about what it says, and upload it.
  • You can post anything that explains the subject we are looking at.
